Mechanical pressure control for automatic start and stop of electric pumps.

The pump starts when the start pressure is reached and stops when water flow ends.

The pressure control is installed on 230 V electric centrifugal pumps and replaces a 24 l diaphragm vessel.

Two adjustable operating modes:

1. P+F mode (pressure and flow):

    The pump starts when the set switch-on pressure (Pmin) is reached and stops when water extraction ends (flow = 0)

2. P+P mode (pressure and pressure):

    The pump starts at the switch-on pressure (Pmin) and stops when the set switch-off pressure (Pmax) is reached.

    A diaphragm pressure vessel (size according to the system and pump type) must be installed.

Pump control with soft start mounted in a wall box, for switching a 400 V pump.

The soft start function allows the pump to ramp up smoothly to its rated speed. 

The advantages are reduced starting currents and lower mechanical loads. (No star-delta start is necessary!)
